You NEED to serve these Charred Edemame with Honey Tamari Sauce at your next dinner party, or any kind of party for that matter! Because they are out of this world amazing! These charred edemame are my saving grace whenever I'm hosting a get together, or have been asked to bring something to a friend's house. In fact, I actually volunteer to bring the appetizer because these are always a hit.

Let me explain why these edemame the perfect appetizer recipe. They are:

That's right, they earn all FIVE approval stamps. Can you believe it!? I don't think I have ever dedicated all five stamps to one dish! But I mean it. This recipe is a fully rounded crowd-pleaser, and it starts with yourself. Everyone knows that hosting dinner with friends can be a little daunting. A lot of time and energy is dedicated to preparing beautiful main dishes and desserts, and as a result there is little time to think of the app. Speak no more! These charred edemame are your saving grace. I can't stress enough how quick and easy it is to throw together. You simply toss some edemame into a pan on high, fry it up, add the sauce, and serve. I truly think you could do this in less than 10 minutes with your eyes closed! (Side note - How have they not created a TV series on cooking with your eyes closed!? That would be amazing!). But really, they are DEAD EASY to make, and quick when you are pressed for time. Yet they still manage to make a lasting impression on your guests.

Skeptics, Girlfriends, and Husbands, oh my! This recipe earns approvals from all three critics! Gone are the days where edemame were seen as a curious green been, and you didn't know whether to eat the outer skin, or cut them open with a knife. Nowadays, edemame are as common as opening a bag of chips on the subway. Even the skeptics have the DL on this little green been. So you can remain calm when your plant-based skeptic friends beg you for the recipe. You may want to bring copies though because your girlfriends will want it too. This recipe is also girlfriends approved because it's a light and low-carb appetizer that your ladies can feel guilt-free about indulging in! And they will love them more after seeing their hubbies fight over the final remains! It's no surprise the gents love it given the savoury finger-food app is also high in protein! (I hope you brought a backpack for all the trophies you'll be leaving the party with.)

But finally, this recipe takes it home with it's chef-worthy stamp of approval. You can't deny that the flavours, popularity, and share-ability of this dish would be an asset to any restaurant. This appetizer would brighten the menu as a "restaurant favourite" with a little gold star beside it's name. Photos of the brag-worthy app would flood instagram feeds, peaking the interest of others in the neighbourhood with a buzzing word-of-mouth, "Have you been to Chez Hannah? Their Charred Edamame is DOPE." Aaaaaahhhhh. That's the dream.

So if you weren't already inspired to cook up this delicious appetizer I hope you are now! Because who doesn't love earning the Top Dish Award of the night? Make sure to bring your speech, and to thank your friends and family for believing in you. Maybe just take out the part where you tell everyone how easy it was to make - best not to rub it in.

Enjoy serving this critically acclaimed Charred Edemame with Honey Tamari Sauce at your next dinner party. You earned it with this masterpiece!
